WHO WE ARE
Allons-y Vert is not for profit organization championing the cause of Food Security, Climate Change and Environmental Activism; a move to reduce food waste, save our planet, protect our environment, improve the climate condition and allow the world breathe green.
In order of objective, our channel of operation is focused on the implementation of Goal 15, then 13 and 12 of the Sustainable Developments Goals (SDGs).
We hold true to the belief that humanity will only be saved from environmental harm if living in a safe environmental. This is why we go by Saving the Greens is Saving Humanity. And why not? Join save the Greens!
WHAT WE DO
DEVELOPMENT
We train youth to develop skills in farming and tree planting through hands-on-practical workshops, and activities that see to reducing food waste, harsh climate conditions and environmental waste. This then extends to community development as our trainees are, at the end of their training with us, to take up community projects either in tree planting, farming or waste management, ensuring monitoring measures for sustainability.
EDUCATION
In every concentration dim fit to be skilled at, it is necessary to be knowledgeable in that field before getting the skills. For this importance, we place much emphasis on educating the general public on being Eco-friendly in aspects possible, while improving on the impossibilities. This is intended to be achieved by the involvement of resource persons and other organizations who are focused on RESPONSIBLE PRODUCTION AND CONSUMPTION, CLIMATE CHANGE AND LIFE ON LAND. This however objects to inform action and responsibility upon all to save the planet.
ENCOURAGEMENT
Our sensitization approaches is to encourage young people to be part of the heroes protecting the environment. The youth involved in our activities are encouraged by taking action in environmental activism, and thus take up practical actions combating environmental violations covering the goal 12,13 and 15.
UNITY
We have a platform uniting other NGOs, institutions, and individuals whose activities project the bearings, and involve the Goal 13,15 and 12. This is to foster co-working relationships among such organizations who are working around these goals to implement and achieve these agenda together.
WASTE MANAGEMENT
​For us, disposable wastes are not wastes at all, because these wastes are our Eco-friends. Our way of saving and protecting the environment is to recycle household solid wastes (empty cans, bottles and containers) for a recyclable innovations in schools, homes, and even in farms as seedling pots, fabric waste for recyclable sustainable fashion, food waste for composting for farming and all sort of waste- we waste them not.
