It's cashew Friday folks. My Friday gift came very surprising. I was in my room dressing up for work when my nephew walked in with these fresh cashews. From who? And in reply, I was told of the source, from a neighbor's backyard farm.
I live in a Green neighborhood right, almost every household in my community practices back yard farming. And among them is a neighbor who had just brought these fruit fresh, organic and more importantly as a gift.
As an environmental activist championing the cause of environmentalism through Goal 15, 13 and inter-relatively 12 of the SDGs , I plant any seed favorable to the soil in my backyard.
I have varieties of crops and fruits I enjoy fresh, and organic from the comfort of my home. I had thought cashew was out of reach to plant, as it appears to me to be rare. My excitement upon receiving the cashews was bound in the fact that I love organic fruits, and I'm about munching on some, and oh,of the fact that finally I'm planting something I have longed for.
The seeds are already resting the soil, let's see how it grows.
Just so you know, cashew provides vitamin C, five times as much as orange and act as anti-oxidants. Cures sore throats, cold and burns fat.
I'm enjoying it, join me if you can baby !
It's Green Noise, no lengthy read, just brief noise.
